I signed up on twitter a while back just to see the playlist from my friend's internet radio station.  That is http://erika.net, and yes, check it out, she'd like your support.  I've never had any intention of using it for anything but that, although I've never really used it.

She & I were discussing php code this morning, and she pointed me to smashing magazine  (http://www.smashingmagazine.com/).  There I saw they had a twitter feed, so I decided to follow.  After getting my password reset, lo and behold, I log in to find that I have SEVEN followers on twitter.  Are you kidding me?  This is hysterical.  I don't POST anything people!  And then it dawned on me... I have 5 people here, and 7 people there... Can't I merge the two?

Well, indeed I can... so I'm proud (and embarrassed) to announce that my blog feeds will be posting directly to twitter from now on (barring some tweaking here and there because I haven't seen the result yet, but a link to this post should show up there in good time, I'm hoping).

And who knows, maybe this is the distraction I need to get away from Facebook.  Just like Facebook was the distraction I used to get away from Myspace.

My handle(?) on twitter is LonesomePlowboy... if you want to roll that route.

Now I need to go learn some PHP... Oh Boy!
