Wow, the things I think of to prevent myself from slipping into terminal boredom...
Actually, that little phrase changes everything. I had something else planned, but now I'm going to go another route. Be right back.
Okay, so I was riding home yesterday, and heard an old favorite of mine which I then wanted to share. Well, I'll get to that one soon enough, but now, for reasons that should seem obvious, we're going with this:
Those Bastard Souls - Train from Terminal Boredom
This is from their 1999 release "Debt & Departure." They were fronted by David Shouse, formerly of The Grifters. I was never that big into the Grifters, but TBS were something else. I actually caught them live once at The Blind Pig, and they were great. I also missed them once when they headlined with Buckner opening. He invited me to join him for dinner and we never made it back upstairs for the show. Oops.
So yea, I was thinking of all this stuff... maybe every once in a while I could post random songs from my days of yore, and call the series... SnoozeBlast! It is simultaneously the most stupidest name ever (right up there with SnoozeCast) and still awesome all at once.
Enjoy some TBS. I'm going to do something useful now.
