If this sounds like a Richmond Fontaine commercial... then so be it, because it kind of is! They're my favorite band here and one of my very favorite things about Portland in general. They're playing Thursday 4/29 at the Doug Fir Lounge. Also Willy Vlautin is an accomplished novelist, and he'll be doing a reading from his new book, "Lean on Pete" on Tuesday 4/27, downtown at Powell's City of Books. 7:30. I'll see you at both.
