stamps

I long for a day when the world no longer requires stamps to mail things.  Don't get me wrong, stamps are a cool thing to collect and all of that, but when I buy stamps, I immediately lose stamps... or really, I place them in a "safe" location so that I know they will never get lost.  Then I can't find them.  I always intend to keep them in my check book, but somehow they never make it there.

Maybe one day, we'll be able to print stamps off of the internet.  That would be convenient.  Because really, I don't need to mail out anything more than 15 times a year.

I guess this can be said of anything really.  It took me quite a long time to find the title for my truck this morning.  I was pretty sure about where I put it and that is where I looked first, but I did not see it there.  I tore through all of my files to no avail.  I then started going them again, and there it was, right where I thought it was.  Ugh.

So clearly I need to be more committed to my organizational skills when it comes to things on paper.  Everything else, I'm on top of it.

And can someone please go through my stuff and find my missing sandals please?  I'm not a sandal person really.  These are things my podiatrist asked me to wear as sandals around the home and what not.  I had 2 pairs, and haven't been able to find the old ones since I moved into this place.

Okay, okay, I lied... I am a sandal person.  There.  At least they're not birks.

  1. FYI, I found my stamps and sandals after posting this. I can be uncanny when it comes to motivating myself.

  2. Whenever I get mail from you I am going to picture you posting it while wearing sandals (not birks). After spending minutes trying to find the stamp. Somehow this will make getting mail from you EVEN better.

  3. Only you could find something positive in that which is generally frowned upon, and I admire you even more for it.
